As a graduate or undergraduate health professions student in one of our programs on UNE's Portland Campus, you find ample opportunities for involvement in student clubs and professional organizations.

Whether you want to form a close bond with others in your discipline by joining the student academic association affiliated with your program, or you just want to get to know others in the diverse student body through fun activities, the Portland Campus offers just what you need.

Clubs and Organizations

The Portland Campus’ Graduate and Professional Student Association offers many opportunities to solidify your bond with others in your department or college. Through academic and professional student organizations, you make meaningful social connections with your peers.

LEARN MORE about Clubs and Organizations

Beginning with the Student Organization Showcase—a fun-filled barbeque where student leaders promote their clubs and organizations and recruit new members—and ending with the spring Pinning and Hooding Ceremonies—where students are recognized for their dedication and academic achievement—the Portland Campus hosts a plethora of events to make for an academic year that is anything but ho-hum.

Check out Portland’s famous restaurant scene with regularly scheduled “On the Town” nights, or try your luck at one of the bingo tournaments. Relax with massages, paraffin wax treatments, and other calming remedies during Stress Relief Week. If you’re the adventurous type, the yearly trip to Canada might be for you. And don’t forget about Field Day: hot dog eating contests and tug-of-war games will remind you that just because you’re a graduate student, you don’t need to give up this time-honored elementary school tradition!
